“Every one of us has the innate ability to solve problems, which are specific and true to each of us-our core strengths- or true colors. Understanding them help an individual to become the best version of self.”

This is one of the core concepts of TRU Color Methodology.

What are Innate abilities of a person?

These abilities are specific, unique, and deeply true to who we are. They are the natural capacities we have deep within us – our core. Our core characteristics, strengths, and abilities define every individual. At Core of leader, it is referred to as True colors.

When we understand these innate abilities, we not only grow but become the best version of ourselves.

Some examples/stories:

History offers powerful examples of how people discovered and expressed their true colors:

Helen Keller: Born blind and deaf, Helen Keller seemed destined for a life of isolation. With the help of her teacher Anne Sullivan, she unlocked her innate ability to learn and communicate through touch and sign language. She went on to become a writer, speaker, and activist. Her true colors were resilience, determination, and the ability to connect deeply without sight or sound.

Maya Angelou: After a traumatic childhood experience, Maya stopped speaking for years. As a child, Maya Angelou stopped speaking for years after a traumatic experience. Yet, she had an innate ability to express deep emotions through words, which she later used in poetry, storytelling, and activism.

Her true color was her profound ability to express through words. When she found her voice again, she became one of the most influential poets, storytellers, and activists of her generation, empowering millions with her words.

Your True Colors: A Personal Palette

‘True Colors’ concept is adopted from on the principles of color theory. The primary colors are red, blue, and yellow, and they cannot be created by mixing other colors. But these three primary colors can be mixed to create various colors. We just need only three primary colors, which gives us the vast variety of color palette, or infinite. When we find our true colors within us – we are opening the door to the infinite possibilities!

Your true colors are your unique blend of strengths, instincts, and gifts. When you tap into them, you gain clarity in decision-making, confidence in leadership, and resilience in navigating challenges.

Becoming the Best Version of Yourself

The journey to becoming your best self isn’t about imitating someone else – it’s about finding out what is inside of you- your true colors. When you embrace what is already within you, you move closer to living authentically, leading courageously, and contributing meaningfully.
